The initial design of The Style Contest site was meant to attract attention. Strong colors, highly stylized with bold strokes to help brand the site in the minds of visitors.

Once the contest was over, The Style Contest changed to The Style Archive since the purpose of the design had changed. A clean, usable look that lets the amazing styles speak for themselves.

And--of course--the hat is back by popular demand.
